Rob fell in love with soccer growing up in California. His earliest memories of the game are playing on competitive soccer teams and attending training camps during the summer. Rob started playing at the age of seven and continued on through high school and briefly in college. Fifteen years later, he was reintroduced to soccer when his son, RJ, was old enough to play. He quickly realized he missed the game when they would practice together. Rob began coaching for WASC in 2007 and currently plays indoor and outdoor men's over 40 soccer. He plays goalkeeper and midfielder and will earn his E-Coaching License in June 2011. Rob currently coaches U9 Boys indoor and outdoor soccer for the Waunakee Galaxy. He loves sharing his knowledge with kids and believes that to coach well, he must play and continually learn the game for himself and keep a positive attitude at all times. Rob likes to keep soccer fun and has been known to motivate his players by awarding them "tackle the coach" privileges... but only if they win. So far no bones broken.... During the day Rob is Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the Wisconsin REALTORS® Association and works in the areas of graphic design, video production and advertising.
