Chelsey Eley has been playing soccer for over 11 years. She has played for the Waunakee Soccer Club from fourth grade until her junior year of high school. In her senior year, she played for the Madison 56ers. In high school, she played all four years on the varsity team under coach Jesus Torres and was team Captain during her senior year. She has won numerous conference and other awards, and went to a the WIAA State Championship. She went on to play at Minnesota State University-Mankato for two years where she was named the conference’s defensive player of the week in 2010.
Chelsey has been coaching at the Waunakee Soccer Camp for four years as a goal keeper coach. She has also helped coach at Little Kickers and other camps that the high school girls program has put on. Chelsey has also been certified referee and refereed games for 4 years in middle and high school. Chelsey holds an 'E' coaching license and continues to help goal keepers progress their play to the next level.
